Christmas gift guide for him!

Hi everyone! So the Christmas season is approaching each and everyone of one of us very quickly and you know what that means-you're going to have to buy presents! I noticed that there were many you tube videos and blog posts on what to get her but not alot about what to get him.

I thought it would be a good idea to show a couple of gifts you could get your brother, son, husband, boyfriend, friend, father etc if you're stuck for ideas ...........

(These are in no particular price order)

I personally think that most boys/men use lynx(I think this is known as axe in other countries) and its a good idea to get any gifts such as a bath and body type of gift now as they're all on offer in places like boots and Tesco! If you would like to buy this click here

When I popped into boots this weekend I saw that they've bought so many Ted Baker gift sets for this year and they were all quite reasonably priced, so this ones slightly more expensive at £14.00, but I think that the packaging is so lovely and it would be great for an older brother, your husband etc. This is also from boots! click here to buy it!

This Jack Wills cleansing set is a great gift for your brother or for your son and this can also be bought in boots here !

This Ted Baker Men's Stocking Filler Minis would be great for a stocking filler and at only £5.00 its worth planning ahead and getting this early! Buy it here

BEATS BY DR DRE Solo 2 Wireless Bluetooth Headphones - Black
You can always spend more on him with some -BEATS BY DR DRE Solo 2 Wireless Bluetooth Headphones - Black. They are pricey but would make a great present for your son, brother etc

Buy it here!

Buy your loved one a weird and wacky gift from the novelty section in Debenhams, because why not?

buy it here !

Lastly, for those who like a bit of photography why not buy this gift(the Thumbs Up Camera Lens Mug) from Debenhams here!

So there you go, a Christmas gift guide for him! Hopefully you found this blogpost helpful! Comment down below which is your favourite and let me know if you'll buy any of these gifts for your loved ones on my social media or in the comments section!

Until next time.........

My Top 3 drugstore eyeliners!

Hi everyone! As you've guessed by the title, I'm going to be chatting about my top 3 (drugstore!) eyeliners! The eyeliners that I'm going to be talking about is a kohl eyeliner from topshop , alterra liquid eyeliner and the essence pen eyeliner .

The first eyeliner I'm going to talking about the the topshop waterproof kohl eyeliner . To start of with the packaging of this eyeliner is so cute and simple . It is also a reasonable size so you can take it traveling ! Also the waterproof formula is just great and the colour pigmentation is amazing too -all that just for £5.00 !

The one thing I would say is that it's not retractable so once the point goes blunt I will probably need to use a brush but other than that it's a great kohl eyeliner and especially at the price it's at !

The next eye-liner I'm going to talking about is the essence pen eye-liner . I have mentioned this eye-liner before a previous post in a Whats in my autumn makeup bag, so I'm not going to go into too much information. But overall this eye-liner is amazing and it's very long lasting, waterproof and also very inexpensive. I think that the brand essence is really underrated and I will definitely try so much more from their cosmetics. Buy it here!

Lastly is the Alterra liquid eye-liner ! I actually have a full blogpost on this here but I decided to put this in as its drug store and just an amazing eye-liner !

As that's all for today's blogpost ! Comment down below what your favourite eye-liners are !

Until next time ........

Beauty Blender dupe-Forever 21 beauty sponge!

Hi everyone! So today I'm going to be talking about a dupe for the beauty blender ! I know there's been a lot of hype on the beauty blender and its quite pricey and I never really knew why there was so much hype for a make-up sponge.....

But from my recent trip to Forever 21 I found a pink (there was purple too :) 'mini' beauty blender for only £3.00! I think it was an amazing price but I wasn't sure if it was going to actually work because I haven't actually applied make-up with a sponge before.

At first I made sure that the beauty blender was damp before use and I used it to blend in some concealer - it looked flawless once blended! I think that for £3.00 it is a great little product.

After a couple of uses I washed it and it kind of expanded .What I did is use normal soap(sorry if this isn't the way to wash a beauty blender, but worked!) and held the sponge under warm/hot water and squeezed it multiple times for all the soap to come out.

It did take a long time to dry but I felt that once I washed it, it applied make-up like concealer or foundation very well (much better than the first time)

However there was one drawback(for me anyway) and it was the fact that it was quite hard to blend in the concealer on my under eye circles.Other than that I pretty much used the Forever 21 beauty blender dupe everyday! So if you haven't tried the actual beauty blender but you don't really want to spend £20+ on a sponge then try this out first !

Comment down below if you think you're going to buy it and let know about any other dupes for other make-up products too!

I hope you enjoyed reading this blogpost and until next time....

My October favourites!

Hi everyone ! Today I'm going to be sharing my October favourites.Since I started my blog(which was in September) I haven't actually done a favourites blogpost so this is my first one! In my October favourites I've got lots of non beauty and beauty favourites! I feel like October has literally flown by so fast but at least were getting nearer to Christmas!:)*cheers*

Anyway here are some of my beauty/skincare favourites of this month.....

left-right

I have actually mentioned the collection shimmer shades before in my whats in my autumn/fall makeup bag. So if you want to get more info on it just click the link! But I've definitely been using this for many things like eye-shadow, light bronzing etc. And at only £4.19 is definitely an amazing product to get since all of the shades are so pigmented!

Next is the clean an clear face wash! I absolutely love this face wash as its oil free and it feels really refreshing on the skin. Its amazing product especially since its drug-store!It also get rid of any make-up left on the skin and its just so amazing I'm actually speechless!

Next is the Vaseline body cream. To be honest I actually used this a lot in July and August but found myself going back to it because it actually smells amazing, like chocolate basically! Since it’s quite cheap it’s definitely worth buying. Also when you apply it to your skin it doesn't feel sticky at all and it absorbs into your skin quite quickly!

My last beauty/skincare favourite of the month is a lip liner by Flormar. This brand doest actually sell in the UK but when I was abroad during the summer I purchased it there for only about 2 Euros. The shade I got it in is number 229.This is such a lovely pinky, nudish shade so it complements anything you wear and definitely goes with a lot of make-up looks! It is quite a long-lasting lip liner but you do need to touch up if you wear it just on your own but it was very inexpensive so I think it’s worth repurchasing!

My non beauty favourites is basically music!
The songs I have been listening to non-stop throughout October are...
1.Downtown-Macklemore&Ryan Lewis
2.Sorry-Justin Bieber
3.David Bowie-Moonage daydream(I know its an old song but its amazing!)
4.Love me like you-Little Mix
5.Haim-Falling(also an older song....)
6.Macklemore-Claiming the city(another old song too but its great!)

So I hope you enjoyed reading this blogpost on my October favourites-if you did comment below and let me know what your favourites were in October!
