Why I love Paper Towns!

Hello everyone! So this is actually my first post which isn't relate to anything beauty -*gasp*.But one thing that you might not know about me is that I love watching films and reading books and I was literally jumping up an down with excitement when I found out Paper Towns had been made into a film too! I know that paper towns has been out for a while now but I was so tempted to write about what I love about the film and the book!

For those of you who are not aware of the plot line here's the blurb! :) -

So some of you might not find books/films like this interesting but I think that it so much more than a romantic story as there is a lot of humour an mystery throughout the book .The other characters ,such as Quentins friends make the book and film interesting to watch/read. I think that the both the book an the film are amazing an are definitely worth reading and watching.

Personally I think that the film has more happiness in it where as the book is quite sad :( By more happiness I mean that the film has points in it that i wish happened in the book .The amount of time that is spent finding Margo is sped up in the film, where as in the book a large proportion of the book is taken up to find Margo, as she is known for leaving mysterious clues which makes her absence form the book interesting.

The film also has an amazing cast who were all amazing at portraying each character in the book especially Austin Abrams ,who played Ben and Nat Wolff ,who played Quentin!.I also think that Cara Delevingne who played Margo did an amazing job with the american accent since shes British -*smiles with pride :)*

Here is the link to the whole cast: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt3622592/fullcredits/

Heres the trailer for the film:

I think in the movie they missed out some points of the book which were quite interesting-***SPOILER ALERT***-like the sea world scene(comment down below if you agree : )

I know it probably sounds cheesy but I think that paper towns has taught me alot of things and made me feel a different attitude towards everything and has taught me some important things(which made me even more obsessed with paper towns!)....

For example :

- Make sure you make the most of everyday
-Dont be afraid to try something new, because you live once, right?
-Dont be afraid to make a fool out of yourself, because why not!
-Be confident-because everyone can be better with confidence!
-Buy a minivan and go on a road trip with your friends or family-just for fun (like I said, you only live once;)
- Dont compare yourself to anyone- I know you probably hear this alot but its true because in the end you live your life for you ,not for other people!
-Theres so much more but your gonna have to read the book or watch the film to find out more....

So I hope my 'review' of paper towns has encouraged you to watch the film or read the book or maybe even both :).I think I might do more reviews/favourite films/books in the future  ( Comment down below if you have seen or read or if you want to see or read paper towns!!

Why I use Vaseline on my eyebrows!

Hi everyone! So today I thought I would post a quick blog post about how I keep my eyebrows in place all day!As you might have guessed by the title I use Vaseline! So you might be thinking-why Vaseline??

The reason I use Vaseline is purely because I think that its so much better than eyebrow gels. As my eyebrows are quite thick, I feel that eyebrow gels I use seem to wear off during the day. Using Vaseline holds the eyebrows in place for a very long-time without having to touch up.Another reason why I use Vaseline is that its inexpensive and it is a versatile product as it can used for your nails, lips, eyelashes etc!

You don't always have to purchase the actual Vaseline as there are other brands that make Vaseline products (as shown above) and work just as well! I advise getting an actual tub of Vaseline rather than the one in a small tin.Partly because it will last longer and personally I think that the Vaseline in the tub is thicker.

Some people might not think of Vaseline as a good idea as it can feel very waxy if you use it for the first time. Personally,I got used to the feeling of Vaseline on my eyebrows and I rarely reach for eyebrow gels any more. The way I apply this is with an eyebrow brush or sometimes with the brush that came with a clear mascara(which I wash out).

(basically I would advise using a brush as shown below)

But if you think you wouldn't use Vaseline on a daily basis for your eyebrows it is always a great substitute for your eyebrow gel if it happens to run out!

Hopefully you found this blogpost helpful without thinking I was too weird! -if you did, comment below or share!

Ps-Also let me know if you would use Vaseline on your eyebrows in the comment section below!

BC(Body collection) lipsticks!

Hi everyone ! Today I'm going to be talking about the body collection lipsticks. I didn't really know about this brand until a couple of weeks ago and I thought it would be a good idea to share what I know about the Body Collection! Judging by the prices of their products, it's a drugstore brand , however I haven't seen this brand at any drugstores such as Boots or Superdrug but I ordered 3 lipsticks online so I think (I'm not so sure) that it only sells products online.

As I said I ordered 3 lipsticks from the Maxi collection, which contains 6 lipstick shades to choose from which I think is quite a generous amount of lipsticks to choose from. Next is the price- these lipsticks are only priced at £1.99! I think that this a great price as these lipsticks are extremely pigmented and they leave such a creamy finish which I personally love as they're very moisturising. However I do find you need to touch up during the day but at a friendly price it doesn't really bother me too much. But I believe its all down to personal preferences. Here are some images.....

As you can see by the colours I was feeling quite daring that day and decided to pick up a red lipstick which is in the shade-vixen. As I mentioned above these lipsticks are very pigmented so you don't really need a lipliner! The next shade I picked up was salsa. It might not show up as well on the picture but the middle shade(which is salsa) is an orange/corally shade which I think would be great to use in the summer! Finally, the last shade I bought was a bright pink. However the pink shade which is called minx,is a little bit more sheer than the other 2 shades but on the second swipe it becomes more opaque. Also I think the packaging of the lipsticks are quite nice and compact so they would be great for travelling as they're plastic.

Overall I think these lipsticks are definitely worth purchasing, especially at only £1.99!! I will definitely be checking out their other products !

If you're interested in buying the lipsticks or any other Body collection products just go here. Comment down below which lipstick was your favourite!

What's in my autumn/fall make up bag!

Hello everyone! Today I'm going to be sharing what is in my autumn/fall make up bag! The makeup shown is some of the makeup I have been using for the autumn/fall very often.I will also talk about some of the products which I haven't mentioned before. Enough waffling and lets get on to what's in my autumn/fall makeup bag!

What's in my makeup bag:

Some of the items above I have reviewed before here are the links:

The first product I would like to talk about which I have been loving to use in the autumn time is the essence eyeliner pen! This eyeliner is an amazing eyeliner especially at around £2.99! The things I love about this is that it lasts for a long period time and the 'felt tip' part is quite slim and easy to work with. When I first bought this eyeliner it was very black and then started to wear out, but at a friendly price I think it's definitely worth repurchasing.I definitely think everyone needs this eyeliner this autumn/fall.(If you live in the UK , Wilkinsons is a great place to get essence products)

Next up is the Garnier miracle skin cream! This cream is absolutely amazing, especially since its a drugstore product.Once you apply this to the skin it changes to the colour of your skin and it blends in very well. The cream also smells absolutely gorgeous and it definitely worth buying. It claims that it is anti aging-for this I'm not quite sure as I'm still a teenager, however it does make you feel that you have no makeup on and is almost like a bb cream. The coverage of this is about medium coverage ut it can easily be build upon!Overall I think this is great to use doing autumn/winter as it's quite light weight.

Last but not least, its the collection shimmer shades.I know you're probably thinking that it looks like more of a summery makeup product you would use but I think that it can be used all year round! This product is also a versatile makeup product as I use it as an eyeshadow, bronzer and highlighter. The good news is that it's only £3.99! I have to admit I did buy this during the summer but I have found myself using it all through august,September and October. The colours are also very pigmented!

It might not show up on the picture to much but the second square on the top right is a wonderful burnt, orangy colour to use for eyeshadow-especially in the autumn time! I usually use the rest of palette for highlighting and bronzing and it gives a lovely glow to your face (the summer tan I have been missing ;).Overall this palette is amazing and it is definitely worth buying!

Well there you have it -my favourite make-up products which I keep in my bag for autumn and winter!
