The Oscars 2017 looks that were fireeeš„
Hey everyone so obviously the Oscars is a very important night in Hollywood as well as for the rest of the world( well for me it is ) and I also did a similar blog post about the Met Gala looks, last year I believe. I thought that the Oscars is a great opportunity to see the very ravishing gowns and suits all the stars wear and strut down the red carpet in. Here are some of my favourite looks and how you can get the looks but I will assure you now they're not the exact products used and they're probably the kind of this you and I cannot afford but we'll browse through them nonetheless....
First is Emma Stone!
Emma Stones look was definitely my favourite because she just looked so classy and also I'm low key obsessed with La La Land which is why I also included Ryan Gosling in this post.(I recommend you go and see La La Land because you have to- my heart was thrown across the room) Anyway, her look was so beautiful because its the kind of dress you dance in and the fringing at the bottom will just fly everywhere which is cool. Overall is the lovely Hollywood classical kind of look which is lovely to see!
Her Dress: Givenchy Couture
Makeup: I am not aware of the exact products that were used on Emma, but for her Burgundy, dark red lip I think that the NARS AUDACIOUS LIPSTICK BETTE is a great colour to use to replicate her look. I feel that not much eye shadow was happening on her eyelids but just to complement her dress, a shimmery eye shadow like Half baked from the Naked 1 palette would look lovely!
Next up is Hailee Steinfeld!
Hailee legit looked like a goddess, she was glowing from head to toe! Her look was very floral and girly which really suited her! I loved her dramatic makeup she opted for especially with the slick back up do which looked amazing! I like how she hasn't gone too dramatic with her jewelry and overall I think that Hailee was definitely u there for the best dressed at the Oscars 2017.
Her Dress: Ralph and Russo
Makeup: Hailee's skin looks like it has been heavily contoured and a great product for that is the Maybelline Master sculpt( which I rave about alot). For her smokey Eye, a great product which I also mentioned for Emma Stones look is the Naked 1 palette, which is such a versatile product where you can create so many looks.
Next up is Ryan Gosling!
Ryan Gosling looked very well dressed and so smart! I mean, who doesn't like Ryan Gosling...
I cant really comment on anything he wore on his face or hair since I'm not very knowledgeable in men's beauty routines lol but I can say that he was wearing Gucci and Christian Loubiton. Also can I just say that ruffle shirt is beautiful!
Next up is Chrissy Teigen and John Legend!
I've decided to review them together because they are a very cool couple who both looked astonishing. Literally, John Legend clearly went for the classic Hollywood, red carpet, bow-tie kind of look which made him look ready to get him through the night. Chrissy obviously looked so beautiful and stunning in a Zurhair Murad Couture dress.The diamante look her dress had going on on the top half carried on downwards- she just looked like the definition of a Hollywood celebrity. Anyways, I liked the drop earrings (which were also diamante) she had on which completed her whole look!
Makeup: Chrissy's makeup looked extremely elegant and quite simple by using a nude lipstick which you could also replicate by using nudes such as,you've guessed it, Velvet teddy by MAC or if you wanna go drugstore you could also use Rimmel London's Boho nude (which I mentioned in my July favourites- I think)
Overall i think they both looked amazing especially Chrissy but I guess she got tired of people saying it so much since she took a nap at the Oscars... as you do but who can blame her.
Okay next up is Emily Ratajkowski
Even though this was at the after party I feel that the after party is just as involved with the Oscars as well as the actual main event. Emily looked so glowy and graceful in this dress! Like Chrissy she went for that sparkle, diamante, sequin whatever you want to call it look. I think it suited her so much especially with the blue smokey eye that really complemented the whole look!
Makeup: the makeup was done by Hung Vanngo and this link HERE gives you an insight of the makeup that was used for her look which I'm pretty sure many of you want t replicate as i do !
Dress: Her dress can be bought here but I am warning you it is actually £24,474 lol but if you are rich af heres the link!
Next is Karlie Kloss !
Okay so clearly Karlie always looks stunning but at the Oscars she was definitely up there in the best dressed ! Karlie Opted for a simple white gown with half a cape(which I like) and despite it being simple I think it just worked well, especially by adding a choker, and lets face it, a choker makes every outfit look good so that was a great idea. I also love how her hair is also simple but elegant!
Makeup: Karlie advertises frequently for Loreal so I'm sure some Loreal products were used for the night. I feel that Karlie went pretty heavy on blush and lipstick and everything else is quite minimal.From Loreals range of lipsticks, i think that the lipstick that will match the coral lipstick Karlie has on is L’Oreal Paris Color Riche Moist Matte Lipstick Orange Power. For blush another loreal product you can use is, INFALLIBLE PAINT CHUBBY BLUSH.
Overall I think Karlie looked like a queen up on that red carpet!
Last but not least is Taraji P Henson!
I'm not going to lie I wasn't sure who Taraji P Henson.... dont kill me I know of her now aha. Anyway I think that she was definitely one of the best dressed aswell, I mean all of these looks im talking about are but this is definitely part of them! I believe her dress is a velvet material and the designer of the dress is Alberta Ferretti dress. Just like I said with the other looks, this looks like the classic Hollywood gown you would wear to an awards ceremony and you just cant go wrong!
Makeup: Her makeup artist was Ashunta sheriff! I think that some details of the makeup used are on her Instagram!
Overall, these are the looks I've picked out that I thought look amazing! Of course there were more beautiful looks from the likes of Pharrell Williams, Hailee Steinfeld's (after party look), Viola Davis etc. But if I included everyone this blogpost would be very long which it already is! Anyway thats it for now, awards season is always my favourite and these kind of blog posts will be popping up much more often in the future, because i do love a good fashion review!

Green Smokey Eye Tutorial
Hi everyone, yet again I haven't uploaded for a long, long, LONG time. But sixth form you know(it makes me question my existence- lol jk exaggerating.... but low key feeling like that) Anyway, so today I'm going to go talk about my You tube video I have just uploaded (about 4 days ago). A drugstore glitter cut crease (no lashes)
Hi, today I'm going to show you what I used to do a drugstore glitter(ish) cut crease! I used brands such as sleek and loreal so its all pretty affordable. Im not going to lie I made this all up on the spot but was quite proud of how it turned out since I am not great at cut creases. New blog new me....kind of
LONG TIME, NO BLOG
So i haven't blogged since august and its really been a couple of things...
1. I didn't think I was really going anywhere with
2. I had nothing interesting to blog to be honest
3.Sixth form!
My 4th excuse is that I wasn't really happy with small things such as my image, the layout, theme etc of the blog. So ive changed a couple of things such as the name which was Ellewithspecs but I have now changed it to my actual name Elena Bytyqi and also under the name 'things off my blog'(as shown in the banner.)
I know that I dont actually have any consistent readers as the bigger bloggers do but it feels great to be sharing anything from what I got from my trip to town to a makeup look I had just made up. I think its great that a review of a product could help someone out there buy the right product for them, even if it means they dont return to my blog- at least they know it exists!
What I'm trying to say is that I feel like I've got my blog into shape now and I feel like I've learnt alot from my very first post, so expect more content (much better content hopefully!).

August favourites 2016!
Hi everyone! So its that time of the month where I discuss what I've been loving this month. It's more beauty favourites and music favourites this time.Hope you enjoy reading !
My favourites!
1. Real techniques brush- I dont know why I haven't included this before but I literally use this brush everyday. I've used this since before prom which was in July so for about 1 month and a bit and i cant live without it.It's honestly so good for contour, foundation etc.Just get it.
2. Eyebrow gel essence- I'm kind of cheating with this a bit since I only got this a few days ago but I honestly think it deserves to be in this months favourites because I have used anything else since and it was only £2.00 :)
3.Essence eyeliner- This was just a repurchase but I forgot how much I liked it and its only £2.30. I used to hype about the loreal super liner and I still love it but I think that if I can save a bit of money by buying an essence eyeliner i might as well. the reason I love this is that its a very, very rich black (pigmented) and it last such a long time.Also it is waterproof.
4.Vogue magazines- When I get a magazine I re-read it so many times and vogue is obviously a big magazine so I've reread it many time now. I enjoy reading vogue magazines since it covers so many ares of fashion and not only fashion but world problems such as the zika epidemic. It also came with a second magazine which was cool too.
5. Flormar Lip liners- What can I say? I absolutely love this lip liners and you can check out my shortish review on my other favourites but ive always liked these and if you live in German or are able to order online, dont hesitate and get them because they're so good and they last so long.
6. Naughty nude Rimmel London- Finally, I added this in my holiday haul if you'd like to read more about it but I just want to say that I've been using this during my holiday and also after and until this day I honestly could not ask for a better lipstick than this one. (abit of an exaggeration but you know what I mean)

Mini holiday/vacation makeup and skincare haul 2016!
Hi everyone! Today I'm going to be showing you all a mini makeup and skincare haul. I got the skincare products from Germany and the makeup from Kosovo.
As you can see above I got all the skincare from the brand Bebe. I tried the Bebe face creams about 3 years ago and I thought why not try it again.I got 2 different face creams so that I can see which one I like better(one with peaches and one with avocado). I have not used the skincare products yet since they're things that you'd use everyday so I'm saving it so it doesn't get used up quickly. You will definitely be seeing these products on future blog posts because I've never been disappointed with these products!
here are the face wipes too. My cousin was like they're really good and not harsh on the skin so I picked them up on the way back to the UK.
I'm pretty sure I've talked about these lip liners before-probably in a favourites blogpost. These lip liners are absolutely amazing which I got in Kosovo(they're a German brand-so any German readers definitely give them a go!) . They're very pigmented and last very long. I've already used 201 and 299 but I'm saving the darker shade for winter/autumn.
Finally I got this rimmel lipstick in Kosovo as well.I know that rimmel is in the uk too but it just happened to be there in the shop at 3.99 euros. I also used the lip liners with this too! It lasts very long and when you eat too-its definitely worth buying!
